I've have been an artist for as long as I can remember. I drew and painted from early childhood and throughout my school years. My first commercial endeavor, though, was through the design and fabrication of neon signs as well as other electric and non electric signs. I co-owned a sign company for 15 years. After that I did free lance graphic design and illustration for corporate clients. But, my true passion is oil painting; specifically landscapes, nature, and animals. My other love and passion is rescue and working with animals. This interest has led me to painting animal portraits, both domestic as in pets as well as wildlife . Recently, I hve been exploring painting outdoors. The Plein Air Painting movement has given me exciting new challenges in my art. I enjoy painting from observation (life) as well as doing commisioned paintings in my studio.
